Governor, Ayodele Fayose rejected reports he had been impeached.He described the reports as a ploy by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to victimise him for his support of President Goodluck Jonathan in his failed re-election bid in the recent elections.
“They are doing all these just to get at me because

Aljazeera Journalists Arrested by Nigerian Army To Proceed With CourtCase Despite Release
Two Al Jazeera journalists who were arrested by the Nigerian Army in Borno State are set to proceed with legal action despite being released.
Ahmed Idris and Ali Mustapha were released from custody on Sunday, April 5, 2015, after being apprehended on March 24.
The journalists had filed a case, through their lawyer,Femi Falana, against the Army for a breach of their fundamental human rights.
“I am in touch with my clients – the journalists and the management ofAl Jazeera – they thanked Nigeriansfor their support and theyhave instructed me to go to court toask for damages,”Mr Falana said.Falana also stated that the journalists’ unlawful detention warrants a public apology from the military.
